Scope of Job

This role in Enterprise Digital will lead the IT function with a focus on supporting and optimizing a cloud-based environment and enterprise applications. We are flexible in the level depending on years of experience.This role is responsible for overseeing all internal IT operations, supporting existing enterprise applications, and ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of IT services. The Senior Manager will provide both hands-on and strategic leadership, partnering with business stakeholders and external vendors to deliver technology solutions that support the organization’s growth and operational needs.
Location
This role is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out of one of our offices (Mountain View, CA, San Diego, CA or New York, NY.)
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s business processes and IT platforms to ensure technology solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a collaborative IT team focused on delivering timely and effective support for enterprise applications and cloud-based systems.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and support of enterprise applications, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and system integration.
- Manage relationships with outsourced IT partners to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of systems and processes.
- Define and execute IT strategies and objectives aligned with the company’s growth plans, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and enterprise application support.
- Approve purchases of IT equipment, SaaS solutions, and related services; manage IT capital and expense budgets.
- Develop and manage IT support processes, including evaluation of support requests, impact analysis, and resolution strategies.
- Prioritize and mitigate support issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in cloud computing and enterprise applications to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Lead the organization’s cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the protection of systems, data, and applications through proactive risk management, policy development, and incident response.
- Oversee the administration, support, and integration of key enterprise applications, including Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 5-8+ years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on cloud-based environments, enterprise application support, and team leadership.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, IT security, network and systems administration, and telecommunications.
- Experience with Salesforce, Netsuite, O365 Administration
- Demonstrated experience managing IT support teams and large-scale technology projects.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative, flexible, and resilient, with a commitment to supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Compensation
Depending on experience job level the pay range for this position is $110,000 - $200,000 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlex's comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex's compensation packages carefully consider a candidate's qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.
Supervision of others
Provides direction and oversight to staff by assigning tasks, offering guidance, and supporting daily operations to ensure team objectives are met. Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and making recommendations on promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions. May manage through subordinate supervisors and holds authority for strategic decisions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Physical Requirements
Remaining in a seated position. Long hours on computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Working Conditions
Approximately 90% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe etc.), telephones, and general office equipment. Possibly 10% of the time is spent traveling to conferences or meetings or field traveling to project sites.
